We are planning an AMAZING Program for Camp Year 2023! We plan to offer our program in a mostly outdoor format in order to maximize our program offerings and fun for the kids, and to minimize close quarters contact and risks associated with COVID-19.
Fitness Fun Day Camp Offers the following Amenities to Campers ages 5 – 12
At the Fitness Fun Day Camp our goal is to nurture the “whole” child and to offer something for everyone. Campers can expect to participate in daily fitness activities, various sports, weekly swimming and tennis, arts & crafts, fun with dance, and mindfulness meditation. Additionally, we open our doors to participants who have risk factors related to overweight and obesity, as well as those who need individual educational plans (IEPs). We also welcome volunteers, and College Interns looking for course completion credits.
We make sure our campers get at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily as recommended by the CDC ! Camp activities include Strengthening & Conditioning (such as stretching, running, push-ups and sit-ups, yoga and pilates), as well as extracurricular activities to engage in (such as relay races, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, swimming, and nature hikes).
Each summer our campers gain valuable sports skills, and build strong friendships that lasts for years to come ! Campers regularly participate in sports (basketball, softball/baseball, tennis, soccer, kickball), and enjoy a variety of interactive games (capture the flag, freeze tag, sharks & minnows, “pin down”).
ENROLLMENT STARTS SOON!
